HOW TO AVOID ORDERING LARGE PANELS AND PAYING OVERSIZE FREIGHT CHARGES
Article

Shipping is generally FREE* on orders over $250.00....There is a $12.50 charge for orders less than $250.00.

SORRY, BUT WE SHIP IN THE U.S.A. ONLY!
Free shipping is only applicable to the lower 48 states. For shipments to Hawaii or Alaska, we can ground ship to the nearest freight forwarder of your choice in California or Washington. If you live in either of those two States, but would prefer delivery straight to your door, you MUST contact us with your 'shopping cart' I.D. number, so we can calculate the shipping charges for you before you place your order. If you Live in Alaska or Hawaii, and place your order online without notifying us for your shipping costs, your credit card will be charged the Actual shipping costs incurred (less what we normally would have paid for continental shipping). You will be responsible for the shipping difference for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

*Exceptions to this policy are as follows:

- There is a One-Time $70.00 "Oversized Freight" charge for cabinet doors and plywood panels that are OVER 75" IN LENGTH. It doesn't matter if you have ONE Oversize piece or TEN oversize pieces. The charge will still be $70.00.
YOU CAN AVOID THIS CHARGE BY KEEPING YOUR DOOR AND PLYWOOD PANEL SIZES BELOW THE 75" LENGTH LIMIT. (For instance, the sides of an oven cabinet can be made with 2 pieces and split with a small moulding, like a chair rail, to avoid the shipping fee.) You may, however, elect to pay the shipping fee so you you can get a single, morenatural looking piece.

- To make this "FREE SHIPPING" program work at such a low total total purchase amount, some doors that cost much less and weigh much more, such as the 100 series LAMINATE and the 700 series RTF (RIGID THERMO FOIL) must sometimes be shipped on a common carrier such as "OLD DOMINION" or a Fed-Ex owned carrier. Although they are usually as quick or quicker than UPS and FED-EX ground, the trucks are normally 18-wheeler types, and you may be charged a $30.00 "Residential Delivery" fee if your street is not rated for that kind of truck.

-If you have ordered 100 series laminate or 700 series RTF doors, assume that they are going to be transported by a common carrier. Please try to have them delivered to a business location to save the $30.00 additional "residential delivery" fee that we must pay the delivery company (and consequently add to your order).

Boxing & Packing:
- The standard door boxes are aprox. 24" wide x 36" tall x 6" deep. They have a 24" x 36" corrogated cardboard lid on them and are strapped with nylon banding. The boxes will each carry up to 8 or 9 doors, and weigh aprox. 40 lbs., with heavier doors sometimes making the box weigh up to 70 lbs.
The strapped box is very much like a suitcase, and can be dragged (with the bottom edge of the 24" side on the ground) for a great distance before the corrogated box will wear through. The boxes are very tough, and stand up to incredible abuse.
You still must Check your order right away, and note ANY box damage with the driver. However, no matter how banged up the boxes may get, damage to the contents is very rare.

- There will be a $15.00 Boxing and Packing charge on ALL orders unless the computer removes it automatically in your shopping cart.
The Packing materials have become more and more expensive, and we will continue to pay for them as we have in the past, but a $15.00 co-pay on the superior packing materials has become necessary to keep our product prices the lowest in the country.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU PAY FOR THE BOX, IT'S WHAT YOU PAY FOR THE ENTIRE ORDER, AND WE ARE SECOND TO NONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY FOR A REASON!
